It's time for the twice annual cleanse! The reset between summer & autumn is a crucial time to let go of heat trapped in the body and to reduce inflammation and swelling brought on by summer. During the autumn cleanse we reset metabolism, hormones, lymph, cortisol and digestive enzymes to create a healthy gut microbiome that supports immune function. Our goal is to support the liver and gallbladders' ability to digest the dense, heavier foods of winter by eliminating any unnecessary acid build up brought on by summer fun. We are essentially preparing the body and creating space for storage and bulking during winter while ensuring our blood pH comes back into an alkaline range. During summer we tend to favor foods in the sweet, pungent, sour and bitter taste categories. These often also contain the most acid content. Things like ice cream, steak, hamburgers, fried foods, alcohol, pickled veggies, cheese and all the yummy fun things we associate with summer barbecues, camping and time on the lake are big contributors to increasing acid in the body. As the blood's pH lowers and the digestive enzymes increase, we have the perfect environment for things like acid reflux, acne and skin rashes, irritability, anger, peptic ulcers and diarrhea to flare. This in turn reduces the body's natural ability to detox. We can only support 12-15 people during the cleanse. It will be on a first come, first served basis. You can choose the level of support you desire from several available options. Once you have paid your non-refundable deposit, you will be given detailed instructions and regular support to help you with this transformative cleanse. Your deposit is your reservation and will be applied toward the cleanse option below of your choice.
